Unlock money for green homes
We are calling on EU institutions and national governments to unlock the finance needed to renovate our homes and make them greener.
When they do, they will ease the cost of living for people, and create a more just, peaceful and sustainable energy system.
Our living standards are under threat from climate change, and we cannot rely on using large amounts of fossil fuels for cooling and heating our homes. We need new solutions to tackle this climate crisis, and one of the most crucial steps we can take is to improve the energy efficiency of our homes.
EU institutions and governments have the power to provide the financial aid we need to renovate our homes and make them greener: let’s raise our voices together and call on our leaders to take action and support the green revolution! Join the movement TODAY!

What we want
We are in the midst of a social and climate emergency that has its roots in our dependence on dirty fossil fuels. Energy prices are getting more and more volatile, and have turned very cold or hot weather into real threats for all of us. 2022 was the second hottest year in history in Europe, and the fifth hottest in the world. Spring and summer bring with them the threat of new extreme weather events, such as droughts, heatwaves, and fires. At the same time, governments are spending billions on fossil fuel projects to make up for energy shortages. Unless we take action now, next winter people will have to choose again between paying their energy bills or putting food on the table.
We need to learn from our past mistakes. We need EU institutions and national governments to step up and help bring running costs down today and make our homes safer for the future.
Through a combination of affordable loans and grants we can make all our homes energy efficient and sustainable. By ending our reliance on fossil fuels, we can help ensure that people never have to shoulder the burden of sky-high energy bills again.
