Ask Members of the EU Parliament to help people heat homes!
On Thursday February 9th, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) will adopt the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). If MEPs vote for an ambitious EPBD that makes banks play their part, this will be an incredibly important moment for our movement to make all buildings in the EU more energy efficient.
Recently, we got some good news that shows that our campaign is moving in the right direction. Last month the European Central Bank (ECB) published its own support for the EU EPBD – and some of the ECB’s arguments reinforce our Unlock campaign’s main demands.
Will this bring us one step closer to unlocking funding for greener and more efficient homes? Please watch the video and email your MEPs now to ask them to vote for an ambitious directive!
